Bowl game: Autonation Cure Bowl
Time: Sat, Dec 15th 2:30pm
Best Win: The Green Wave handled the Memphis Tigers 40-24 in late September. Nearly doubling Memphis yards total (496-277). This is the type of performance that they will look for on Saturday.
Worst Loss: SMU rolled in to town and beat them 27-23 in October. Tulane has struggled with consistency and this game was evidence of that
The Now: Justin McMillan, a senior out of Cedar Hill, Texas, will look to end his career on a high note. The QB certainly won’t be the focal point in this run heavy offense but look for him to make a few plays. Donnie Lewis will be a CB you wish your team drafted come this spring. He is extremely talented and will likely limit the opposition from throwing down field.
Best Win: The Ragin’ Cajuns dropped 47 on Arkansas State in shootout. This was an impressive win, considering Arkansas State success in the conference.
Worst Loss: Coastal Carolina went on the road and stole a 30-28 game. This was following a loss to Mississippi State so the team may have been beaten up but nonetheless you can slip up to the Chanticleers.
The Now: Andre Nunez is another senior QB who wants to go out on a high note. This team lost to App State in conference championship so the hunger should be there. Partnering with Nunez is Elijah Mitchell and Trey Ragas, who are both quality backs.
The Bet: ULL finds themselves as a 3.5 point underdog, which is fascinating to me. Tulane only averages 25.7 points a game and faced a cake of a schedule. ULL has handful players who should play at the next level. Baring turnovers the Cajuns should control the game with their talented backfield. Take the ML and enjoy a 31-20 victory.
