Earlier this week I received an email from my local Chick-fil-A. Admittedly, I am signed up for their mailing list, since they send out free coupons relatively often. This one caught me by surprise, though.
Thankfully, I now have the option to go down to Chick-fil-A, get some tasty chicken, and get my legal documents notarized, all in the same stop! I can literally run Sensibly Loud Media out of a Chick-fil-A, if I want. What a world.
I can’t imagine that Chick-fil-A didn’t do some research to find out what is missing from people’s chicken experience. But, I highly doubt that they anticipated an on-staff notary being the key to selling more chicken sandwiches.
Maybe a good-natured patron submitted the feedback to the all-mighty suggestion box? Is it possible that more than 2 or 3 people would submit that as feedback? It must be, right? Its really not hard to become a notary but it does require some work on the individual’s part, and is no small cost to the Chick-fil-A franchise.
I’m interested to know if any more Chick-fil-As have this service. I’ll be on the lookout.
